I found this article from The Guardian to be interesting. This man describes his daily job as being the state executioner in Virginia for 17 years and the reasons behind why he stopped.
He now campaigns strongly against Capital Punishment. I still don’t know how I feel about the death penalty, but fortunately I am not in a position to ever have to make that decision.
